The Republican National Committee (RNC) recently launched a new website, factcheckbiden.com, which aims to fact-check President Joe Biden’s statements in real time. The RNC hopes to make the website Biden’s least favorite by holding him accountable for his alleged lies. The website will operate as part of the RNC Research and Rapid Response team.
In a statement, Ronna McDaniel, the chairwoman of the RNC, accused Biden of lying about what he has done for the country. She cited examples such as Biden’s claims that the southern border is secure and the Afghanistan withdrawal was successful. The RNC intends to monitor Biden’s remarks during his campaign and official events, with the hope of exposing any falsehoods.
Biden lies so much we had to make an entire website just to keep track! Check it out and sign up for updates now: https://t.co/YddEq9WIqU

The RNC’s goal is to hold Biden accountable, and the website will feature examples of statements made by Biden that the RNC has marked as “fake news”. The website will provide fact-checks and debunk any claims that are found to be inaccurate.
One such example currently featured on the website is from a recent event at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, where Biden described himself as a “22-year-old kid on the east side in the civil rights movement”. The website shows fact checks that debunk Biden’s claim of being part of the civil rights movement, stating that Biden only participated in one walkout.
The fact-checking website has also highlighted another instance of Biden’s promise not to raise taxes for people earning less than $400,000. The website cites an evaluation from the Joint Committee on Taxation, indicating that Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act would generate “at least half of all recent tax revenue” from individuals earning less than $400,000.
Biden, the front-runner for the Democrats, announced his candidacy for re-election in 2024 on April 25, marking the four-year anniversary of the launch of his 2020 campaign. The current front-runner for the Republicans is former President Donald Trump.
The RNC’s fact-checking website aims to keep Biden accountable for his statements and promises to provide real-time fact-checks during his campaign and official events. The website is a valuable resource for those seeking accurate information and transparency in political discourse.
