Tragic Christmas: Couple’s Death Orphans Children

A tragic incident occurred on Christmas Day as a married couple was discovered deceased in their southwest Houston home, believed to be a case of murder-suicide, leaving their three children without parents.

The heartbreaking event unfolded shortly after 10 p.m. Monday in a residence on Grasila Drive, near the vicinity of South Post Oak and Highway 90. Upon arriving at the home, police encountered the couple’s 14-year-old daughter, who bravely conveyed the tragic events to the officers.

Once inside the residence, law enforcement discovered the lifeless bodies of the two parents in an upstairs bedroom. Preliminary investigations suggest that the 43-year-old husband may have shot his 34-year-old wife multiple times before tragically taking his own life.

Although the couple’s three daughters, aged 6 to 14, were present at the time of the incident, they fortunately were not physically harmed. Authorities are working diligently to determine their future care, and for the time being, the grieving girls have been entrusted to the custody of extended family members who were present at the scene.

Reportedly, investigators have located the suspected murder weapon, and they are meticulously processing evidence related to the case. The Houston Police Department has assured the public that there is no immediate threat connected to this tragic incident.
