In a hilarious twist of fate, a neighborhood within Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) district now resembles a third-world country, complete with illegal immigrants blocking sidewalks and ladies of the night openly offering their services. It’s a far cry from the once-vibrant and diverse area it used to be.
Local resident Ramses Frías, a former Democrat turned Republican, captured the chaos on video, describing it as a “third-world market” with clothes strewn across the floor, stolen from donation bins or stores. These vendors are not only stealing business from brick-and-mortar establishments but also avoiding taxes. How very progressive!
The neighborhoods in question, Corona, Jackson Heights, and Elmhurst, are all located in northwestern Queens, which falls squarely within Ocasio-Cortez’s congressional district. In a delightful display of irony, Mayor Eric Adams’ NYPD recently raided six establishments in the area with direct ties to prostitution. Adams even went as far as saying, “Trafficking is real… and we’re not going to sit idly by and pretend that it’s not happening.”

In response, Ocasio-Cortez blamed Republicans for filming these poor illegal immigrants in their worst moments, claiming that anti-immigrant policies are forcing them into these “undignified conditions.” Oh, the hilarity!
Frías, who took the video and is now running for a state assembly position as a Republican, invited Ocasio-Cortez on a tour of the neighborhood. He even offered to show her the “quality of life for everybody that lives” there. However, it seems she’s too busy tweeting about the evils of capitalism to actually visit the neighborhoods she supposedly represents.
