In the realm of the White House, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre appears to have twisted reality, claiming an upside-down version of events. On Wednesday, she asserted that Joe Biden’s response to the Maui disaster was swift, despite his week-long silence and vacation just prior to visiting the devastated area.
Doocy: "It seems like the hurricane response so far is robust. Did you guys realize that the initial Hawaiian wildfire was not that good or is it just easier for people to get help from the WH when [Biden] is not on vacation."

Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy put Jean-Pierre on the spot, questioning whether the initial Hawaii wildfire response was subpar or if the White House assistance conveniently arrives when the president is not vacationing.

The Press Secretary swiftly fired back, dismissing Doocy’s query as “incorrect.” She further contended that conversations with Hawaii’s governor, senators, and those on the ground would reveal that the president’s response was exceptionally quick in addressing the wildfires.
Interestingly, in the same press briefing, Jean-Pierre contradicted herself by asserting that the Biden administration is actively curbing the influx of illegal immigrants at the border. This contradicts the visual evidence of barriers left open and encounters with migrants reaching unprecedented levels.

Adding to the perplexity, Biden himself reiterated not once, but twice on Wednesday that his own home nearly burned down, drawing a parallel to the Maui disaster.
BIDEN: "Lightning stuck my house … half the house almost collapsed!"
According to a 2004 AP report, it was “a small fire…contained to the kitchen” that “was under control in 20 minutes.” pic.twitter.com/4RBlQgV9E0

However, this narrative falls apart when confronted with the reality that this story is also a complete fabrication.
