The scrutiny intensified when the Southern District of New York issued a warrant for raids on Combs’ residences in Los Angeles and Miami, although no criminal charges have been filed against him as of yet.

The investigation came to the public’s attention when the Miami Herald published an article questioning whether Combs could be considered a figure similar to Epstein, known for trafficking teenage girls to the global elite.
Combs finds himself at the center of a civil lawsuit filed a month ago, which accuses him and his company’s staff and executives of engaging in illegal activities, including drug use, illegal possession of firearms, and providing substances to prostitutes and minors for Combs’ personal satisfaction.

Drawing parallels with figures like Harvey Weinstein and R. Kelly, the Miami Herald suggested that if the allegations against Combs are proven, he could be seen in a similar light, given his luxury lifestyle that might have been used to entice women into compromising situations. Neighbors have reported frequent gatherings at Combs’ Star Island home, hinting at an environment of constant parties and unfamiliar guests.
The lawsuit, initiated by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, describes Combs as leading a “widespread and dangerous” criminal organization involved in human trafficking. Jones also accuses Combs of personal misconduct and claims that Combs settled a previous lawsuit with singer Cassie, who alleged Combs forced her into private acts.
Furthermore, Jones alleges that Combs targeted vulnerable individuals, recruiting them through a private jet and property in the Caribbean. According to the lawsuit, some of the alleged victims were recruited from Miami strip clubs to cater to Combs’ demands.
