It’s being reported that once again, impeachment might be a real threat for President Donald Trump.
According to an explosive report from NBC News’ Teri Kanefield, President Donald Trump’s White House lawyers are now stepping in to prevent a SECOND impeachment attempt. To prevent such a development, they’re pushing Trump not to fire current FBI Director Cristopher Wray, who has been a complete DISASTER as FBI Director. He’s no better than James Comey.
Trump’s Lawyers Step In
According to the report, President Trump’s special White House counsel has been cautioning him against firing the current FBI director Christopher Wray. The officials are worried that it might send a bad signal to voters and could cause legal troubles.
NBC News’ Teri Kanefield says that “Trump’s White House lawyers are trying to stop a last-minute impeachment repeat” by preventing Wray from being fired, writing:
“His lawyers may steer him away from danger with Christopher Wray, but it’s too little, too late.”
But despite these warnings, it looks like Trump might do it anyway. According to an official familiar with the situation as reported by NBC, Trump might pardon and fire a lot of people on his way out:
“I wouldn’t take anything off the table in coming weeks.”
The official reportedly said to expect “some more fairly significant terminations in the national security or intelligence community.”
This news comes at the same time that President Donald Trump just a called an emergency meeting with his Defense Secretary at the White House, as rumors circulate that he will take action to push for an election audit.
Lin Wood, Sidney Powell, and many other Republican leaders are even calling for President Donald Trump to challenge election results and impound voting machines so they can be officially inspected.
