President Donald Trump is widening his lead against Joe Biden.
According to a bombshell report by Newsweek, a new poll has found that President Trump is leading Joe Biden in six battlegrounds states.
Trump Beats Biden
A recent poll by Change Research and CNBC has revealed that 47 percent of likely voters in Arizona, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin would back Trump if an election were held the same day.
Biden’s numbers weren’t so impressive. Only a small 45 percent told pollsters they would opt for former Vice President Biden. A further 4 percent said they would back a third-party candidate while 3 percent were unsure who they would back in November.
When the hypothetical ballot was whittled down to a simple head-to-head between Trump and Biden, the president had a three-point lead among battleground state voters.
Trump Beats Congress
And Joe Biden isn’t the only person President Donald Trump is beating. According to that same poll, President Trump is also beating Congress on the issue of Coronavirus.
Seven-in-ten of the swing state voters told pollsters that they disapproved of Congress’ reaction to the pandemic. Meanwhile, Trump’s numbers were a lot better.
Forty-eight percent of those polled said they either “strongly” or “somewhat” approved of the commander-in-chief’s handling of the COVID-19 outbreak.
A Two Term President
With all of this new information coming in, it’s looking more and more likely that President Donald Trump will be a two term president. The GOP loves him. Americans think he’s better than Congress. And now Trump is beating Biden in most of the key battleground states according to the polls.
And not only that, but Biden is struggling. On the issue of Coronavirus, Biden has been extremely slow to speak out. He’s had almost no publicity. And now Biden is facing sexual assault allegations. Democrats are more divided right now than they’ve been in a long time.
All of these facts, when considered, point to Donald Trump winning in 2020.
