It’s starting to look more and more like Republicans will be able to confirm Amy Barrett to the Supreme Court.

According to a new report released by The Hill, Senator Ted Cruz says that he’s “very confident” that Republicans have the votes necessary to get Barrett approved to the highest court in the land. He says Republicans have a solid 51 votes.

Cruz Says Barrett Has The Votes

In a recent interview with the Washington Post, Cruz says that Republicans have the votes necessary to get the conservative Amy Barrett confirmed to the Supreme Court, saying:

“I’m very confident. I believe we have the votes. I believe we’ll get it done.”

Cruz then went a step further, stating that Republicans have a “solid” 51 votes secured and that it looks like that won’t change any time soon:

“As I see it, we have a solid 51 votes right now. And from the conversations in the conference, I don’t see that changing.”

Cruz’s recent statements predicting a GOP victory for confirming Amy Barrett. In fact, one Republican Senator even recently said he was willing to come to the Senate in a “moon suit” to help confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett.

ABSOLUTELY…SHE IS SO QUALIFIED. ALL COMMENTS REGARDING HER PERSONALITY, VALUES, INTEGRITY, KNOWLEDGE ARE MORE THAN FAVORABLE. THE SCOTUS SHOULD BE SEATED WITH 9 MEMBERS ESPECIALLY WITH ALL THE DANGER POISED AT OUR REPUBLIC WITH THE IDEALOGY OF THE LIBERAL SOCIALISTS.

Surely one of the 51 isn’t Romney – that guy’s a liar just like McCain! Why would McConnell EVER ask for Romney’s word on supporting Justice Vote – or EVER believe anything the man said!!!

Hopefully they actually have 52 confirmed votes.

Romney probably only promised his yes vote because they’ll be giving Judge Barrett a confirmation hearing. Otherwise he’d probably be backing out on it.
