Suicide Checks Being Made On Ghislaine Maxwell In Prison

Liberal billionaire Jeffrey Epstein was found DEAD in his jail cell after being put under investigation for running the world’s largest pedophile ring. And now, officials are looking to prevent the same fate happening to his partner and ex girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell.

According to Daily Mail, prison officials are waking up Ghislaine Maxwell in her prison cell every 15 minutes to make sure she’s not dead. Maxwell is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn while she awaits trial.

Suicide Checks Being Performed

Maxwell’s lawyer revealed details about she’s being treated in prison as she’s being monitored around the clock. According to the lawyer’s statement:

“She is overmanaged under conditions more restrictive than inmates housed in 10South, the most restrictive unit in the MCC; or individuals convicted of terrorism and capital murder and incarcerated at FCI Florence ADMAX, the most restrictive facility operated by the BOP.”

According to the Daily Mail, Maxwell’s lawyers say “Ghislaine Maxwell is being woken up every 15 minutes in her cell to make sure she has not killed herself, as her lawyer claims she is being treated worse than inmates convicted of terrorism and murder.”

While this might seem extreme, it’s all meant as a way to keep her alive until she appears in court. Prosecutors also claimed Maxwell was initially quarantined without soap or a toothbrush and medical staff had stopped checking in on her.
