The liberal media hates Donald Trump. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that they are trying to hurt his reputation by claiming he will be defeated in the general election.
But the liberal media isn’t fooling anyone. Especially not Sarah Sanders, the former Press Secretary for Donald Trump’s administration.
On the Fox News show Outnumbered, Sarah Sanders made an appearance to talk about her predictions regarding Donald Trump’s reelection. She has analyzed the latest polls taken in which Trump takes on potential Democrat nominees in “hypothetical” matchups – and she thinks it looks pretty good for Trump.
It is safe to say that Sanders has full confidence in Trump’s chances this November.
What Sarah Thinks
According to Fox News, Sanders stated emphatically that she “doesn’t buy” head-to-head polls showing current Democrat candidates will defeat Trump in the general election.
Sanders pointed to Trump’s rising approval ratings, explaining that it will be extremely difficult for any Democrat candidate who challenges Trump.
The former White House spokesperson then began to reference the latest poll that shows over 60% of Americans feel like they are better off under Donald Trump’s administration than they were under Obama.
What Polls Don’t Show
We all remember what happened last time the media relied to much on polls to predict the 2016 election. Almost every poll showed Hillary Clinton victorious – and yet, on the night of the vote count it was Donald Trump who snatched the victory.
The moral of story from the last presidential election is that polls do NOT represent what real Americans are thinking.
It’s even been suggested by numerous Republican voters that the only people who participate in polls are people who don’t have jobs or families.
Sarah Sanders is wise to be skeptical of polls. In this new world of politics, they are pretty much meaningless.
