Legendary Conservative and talk show host Rush Limbaugh was recently diagnosed with cancer. And he has just released a statement to his fans to let everyone know how he’s doing.
According to a report by the Christian Post, Limbaugh shared an update about his treatment, saying he’s been going through ups and downs but things are better than he expected. He added that “I believe prayer works.”
“Better Than I Thought”
Rush Limbaugh confirmed that the treatment he has been undergoing has been a lot better than he originally thought. On his radio show, he told listeners:
“This past period, this past treatment, which was a week ago tomorrow, this has been much better than I thought.”
Limbaugh confirmed that due to “the affect of toxicity” he originally believed that his treatment was going to be much worse. Instead, he found the treatment to be a lot quicker and simpler than expected. However, he notes that his condition might change:
“Because of the cumulative effect of the toxicity, I was expecting to be, you know, in that just debilitating fatigue for 10 days. And I wasn’t. It lasted two days, Thursday and Friday. The weekend was good. But, again, anything can change rapidly and on a dime. So, it’s a blessing.”
It’s no secret that Rush Limbaugh is one of the most believed conservative voices in America. So when it was first discovered that he had cancer, it came as a heartbreaking shock to most Americans.
Donald Trump, once he heard, immediately decided to give Rush a Presidential Medal of Freedom for all his community service on radio and in politics.
Limbaugh originally was worried that his cancer diagnosis might cause his radio show to end. But thankfully, it looks like that is unlikely right now.
We pray every day for his health and hope that he can continue to help Americans know the truth about what’s going on in their country.
