Democrats are using the murder of George Floyd as an excuse to attack President Donald Trump’s home.
According to reports, riot control police have made at least 7 arrests at Trump Tower in New York City. The arrests were made after protestors purposely targeted the building in a hostile and politically-motivated strike.
Rioting In The Street
By nightfall of last night, there were already dozens of arrests, including at least seven outside Trump Tower where several protesters refused official orders to move out of Fifth Avenue and on to the sidewalks.
Protestors reportedly screamed out:
“No sidewalks! This is a protest. We belong in the streets.”
But that didn’t fly with the authorities, who quickly sprang into action to round up the criminals.
CBS recorded footage of the officers springing into action. You can watch it on Yahoo. Horns can be heard blaring in the background with officers barking orders at the unruly protestors who tried to illegally block traffic.
Protestors Are Armed
These are not peaceful protests. So far, authorities have found protestors to be possessing weapons like brass knuckles and handguns.
A firearm was recovered from one protester, and a set of brass knuckles from another. Some protesters came with bricks and threw them at officers. A Molotov cocktail was thrown at an occupied police van at around 1 a.m.
Samantha Shader, 27, of the Catskills region, was arrested in connection with the tossing of the Molotov cocktail and was expected to face federal charges, law enforcement officials said on Saturday.
Mayor de Blasio Backs Down
It’s common knowledge that New York City’s socialist mayor, Bill de Blasio is anti-police. For years, he has used his position in office as an excuse to harass and bully officers who were just doing their job.
But in response to the arrests in New York City over the past couple of days, de Blasio took up for officers saying he was not going to blame officers “who were trying to deal with an absolutely impossible situation.”
Needless to say, the situation is completely out of control. And more arrests are likely to follow.
