Authorities have just arrested one of the protestors responsible for attacking Senator Rand Paul outside of the White House after the Republican National Convention.
According to Daily Mail, a man from Florida has been charged for allegedly attacking a police officer who was escorting Senator Paul from the White House after President Donald Trump late night address at the Republican National Convention.
Authorities Make The Arrest
According to the report, a Florida man has just been charged with assaulting a police officer who was protecting Rand Paul. Paul was attacked by protestors as he left the White House following President Donald Trump’s RNC address.
Both Rand Paul and his wife were circled by a crowd of angry liberal protestors as they left Donald Trump’s RNC address from the White House. They even reportedly said that they feared for their lives after the mob attack.
On Wednesday the Department of Justice announced that a man had been arrested following an attack on an officer.
The news comes after Rand Paul told Fox News that he and his wife would have been murdered if police had not been there to help them, saying:
“They would have killed us had the police not been there.”
