This is the last thing that Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden needs.
According to a new report by CNS News, a new poll suggests that most Americans think America will be MORE divided if Donald Trump loses the presidential election. The news comes just days after Biden asked during a speech if people thought there would be less violence if Trump was elected.
Bad Polling For Biden
A new survey conducted by Rasmussen polling suggests that U.S. voters think there will be more division in America if Trump loses the election than if he wins.
Rasmussen conducted a poll on August 26-27 which asked one simple question:
“If President Trump is defeated by Joe Biden in the 2020 election, will America become more divided or less divided?”
The results of the poll are NOT good news for Joe Biden. Nearly HALF of those surveyed (46%) predict that America will become more politically divided if Joe Biden wins.
Among young people, the numbers are even worse for Biden. According to the poll, 57% of young people between the ages of 18 and 39 say that America will become more divided if Joe Biden wins.
According to CNS News, the data also shows that a majority of people surveyed think that Democrats are to blame for the divison instead of Trump:
“Likewise, the percent of voters who say Trump’s opponents are most to blame for the division has increased to 45%, from 38% last October, while the percentage blaming Trump has dipped from 52% to 49%.”
