Mitt Romney was worried Democrats were trying to hurt married couples.
In a shocking act report by Business Insider, Mitt Romney officially signed a written letter to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer that their proposed socialist bill is dangerous. He joined Tom Cotton, Marco Rubio, and 31 other Senators by sending a letter slamming Democrats for their new bill.
Romney Sends Letter To Schumer
Mitt Romney has reportedly joined 33 Republican U.S. Senators in sending a letter SLAMMING Democrats for pushing a bill that would reportedly hurt married couples.
According to Business Insider, “The group criticized a ‘marriage penalty’ in the current draft of the bill that may disqualify some low- and moderate-income families from receiving an Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC).” Meanwhile, the group helped single people.
The letter, written by other Republicans, said:
“Federal policy should be designed to foster strong marriages, which are the foundation of strong families and strong communities.”
But Romney May Still Be Wrong
But don’t be fooled. Just because Mitt Romney is siding with Republicans this time doesn’t mean he’s “on our side”. In fact, Romney is trying to compromise with Democrats by settling on a socialist bill that’s JUST AS DANGEROUS.
Romney is reportedly pushing for an alternative to Democrats’ mutli-trillion dollar bill by pushing for another socialist one, co-written by him, that will still cost $1.2 trillion.
Romney says a socialist bill needs to be passed because Democrats are “going to push for that anyway”.
Don’t be fooled. Romney is still dangerous to liberty and personal freedom. However, his latest decision is yet another example that a broken clock can be right twice a day.
