Mitt Romney Finally Admits That Trump’s Executive Orders Are Legal – After Pelosi’s Baseless Claims

Democrats refused to pass Coronavirus relief for the American people in the middle of a national pandemic. So Donald Trump did exactly what needed to be done: He issued an executive order and gave struggling states the stimulus aide that they so badly needed.

But Trump’s enemies were FURIOUS with the decision. Democrats like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi even claimed that what Trump did was unconstitutional!

However, one of Trump’s biggest critics in the U.S. Senate, Sen. Mitt Romney, has finally caved and admitted that he thinks what Donald Trump did to help Americans amid Coronavirus was, in fact, legal. The announcement is another major victory for Donald Trump’s campaign ahead of the 2020 election.

Romney Contradicts Pelosi – Says Trump’s Orders Were Legal

Romney said Monday on KSL Newsradio’s “Live Mic.” that Trump’s executive orders were perfectly legal after having lawyers look at it, saying:

“My legal staff has taken a look at the executive orders and believe that the president has a good, reasonable case to be made that he has the authority to do what he has described.”

Romney then added that although Trump’s order “isn’t the way things are supposed to be done,” they were admissible as legal.

Pelosi Tried To Paint Trump’s Actions As “Unconstitutional Slop”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has spent a long time trying to attack Donald Trump’s orders as being unconstitutional, saying:

“No, in fact, what the president did… is unconstitutional slop.”

Pelosi even – without proof- claimed that Trump’s actions undermined social security:

“While he says he’s going to do the payroll tax, what he’s doing is undermining Social Security and Medicare, so these are illusions.”
