Man Arrested After Threatening To Assassinate U.S Senator And Law Enforcement

Brian Maiorana, 54, was arrested on Tuesday

According to a new report by The Sun, Maiorana was arrested in Staten Island after he allegedly claimed to be plotting to kill law enforcement members and even a U.S. Senator. He threatened to use pipe bombs to blow people up before officers arrested him.

Law Enforcement Step In…

Law enforcement arrested Maiorana and charged him with threatening to kill people after he was allegedly plotting to kill law enforcement officials and other elected officials like Senator Chuck Schumer.

Maiorana allegedly made BOMB threats, saying that the world had “come to point where pipe bombs need to be thrown…”

Law enforcement also reportedly found a semiautomatic weapon, a taser, a crossbow, an expandable baton, the upper portion of an AR-15, and several rounds of ammunition at his home. He was loaded for bear, and was using social media platforms to threaten officials with violence.

His possession of firearms was ILLEGAL because he was convicted of sexual assault back in 2007, according to NBC.

Maiorana is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn awaiting his trial on November 24. It’s unknown what the future holds for him. But it’s safe to say that he will probably be put behind bars for a long time.
