Lara Trump Reportedly Considering Running For U.S. Senate

This could be very, very big news.

According to an explosive new report from The Daily Caller, a source close to Eric Trump’s wife, Lara Trump, says that she’s considering running for the United States Senate. If this happens, she would be the first member of the Trump family to run for office after Trump began his presidency.

Lara Trump Running?

The report states that multiple allies of Donald Trump have revealed to journalists that Lara Trump has personally told them she is thinking about running in the U.S. Senate in North Carolina. Mrs. Trump reportedly wants to replace Republican Senator Richard Burr, who is retiring once his term finishes.

Former White House counselor Kellyanne Conway also recently admitted that Lara would be an extermely “formidable” if she were to run for the seat, saying:

“She has the trifecta: she can raise money, raise awareness of key issues and raise attention to her race. Unlike many typical politicians, she connects with people and is a compelling messenger.”
