Iran’s power plant has just been compromised after a massive explosion.
According to a report by The Independent, power in the country was stopped after one of the country’s biggest power plants was abruptly exploded. The reason for the explosion is yet undertimined, however an official claims that it was caused by damage to the facility earlier this month.
No injuries have been reported.
An Act Of Sabotage?
The recent explosion of the plant comes just weeks after a massive fire broke out at the power facility earlier this month.
After the fire was put out, a former official at the facility suggested the fire may have been an attempt to sabotage work at the plant. The fire came as it was revealed that the plant was involved in illegal acts that breached international nuclear deals with countries like the United States.
However, an official at the power plant says that the explosion was just the result of “wear and tear”. He claims absolutely that there is no evidence that it was intentional.
Iran’s Infrastructure Is Collapsing
It’s no secret that Iran has been struggling worse than ever before in recent days. The president of the country has even admitted that his country has been ravaged by Coronavirus in recent days.
And now, their power infrastructure is collapsing as well.
But Iran is still trying to pretend that there is nothing to worry about. They are even trying to distract the world from its problems by announcing numerous executions of random people in a very public fashion.
It has many people worried about what the country might do next.
