Fox News CUTS Off White House Press Briefing After McEnany Shows Video Of Portland Protests

Fox News just made a controversial decision to drop coverage of one of the White House’s recent press conferences while Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany was still speaking.

Fox News abruptly stopped recording Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany’s press conference at the White House after she started showing videos of protests happening in Portland. Management turned off the cameras and stopped recording the event abruptly.

A Fox News host immediately said afterward that the network chose to drop their coverage of the event on purpose because McEnany’s video wasn’t on their agenda.

Fox News Cuts Off White House Briefing

It all started when White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany announced that she would be showing a video during the press conference of liberal riots happening across Portland.

Fox News made the decision to cut off the White House, because Fox claims that they were “not expecting” the video to be shown:

“We were not expecting that video. Our management here at Fox News has decided we will pull away from that at this time.”

Investigative reporter at Mediate, August Takala, was one of the first people to report the story on Twitter. He released a video that you can watch yourself below:
