After days of violent riots and acts of vandalism across the country, President Donald Trump is taking action to end the chaos once and for all.
According to Mediaite, President Donald Trump has just confirmed that he will sign an executive order requiring local government officials to guard their monuments in the wake of the brutal attacks after the death of George Floyd.
Presidential Order Coming
Trump made the announcement in an interview with EWTN’s Raymond Arroyo, a Fox News contributor.
Trump said in the interview that protests have gotten out of hand. Vandals are even destroying statues of men who OPPOSED racism:
“You see Ulysses S. Grant, where they want to take him down. He’s the one that stopped the ones that everybody dislikes so much. It’s a disgrace.”
And Trump pointed out that not only do the statues represent history, but they are also great works of art that are being pillaged by radicals:
“Also, remember, some of this is great artwork, this is magnificent artwork, as good as there is anywhere in the world. As good as you see in France. As good as you see anywhere. It’s a disgrace.”
That’s when President Trump confirmed that he’s preparing to sign an executive order so that liberal government officials will be required to PROTECT federal property. They’ll no longer be allowed to look the other way:
“We’re going to do an executive order and we’re going to make the cities guard their monuments.”
The Government Exists To Protect
President Donald Trump is absolutely right to sign this executive order. The main function of government is to protect its citizens. If Democrats can’t manage to do that, then they should kicked out. End of story.
For far too long, politicians have looked the other way when rioters destroy federal property and attack innocent people. State officials need to take action and stop the madness once and for all.
