Trump just did it…

President Donald Trump has just officially signed an executive order requiring online social media companies to STOP online censorship. Trump is calling in the FCC to oversee how companies are silencing people online to make sure that no abuse occurs.

Trump Targets Social Media Giants

On Wednesday afternoon, President Donald Trump had the White House publish his brand new executive order on online censorship. The order will require giant social media companies to be supervised by the FCC to make sure that people’s rights are not being violated.

Acccording to an official statement by the White House:

“Trump’s Executive Order on Preventing Online Censorship, filed a petition… The petition requests that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) clarify that Section 230 does not permit social media companies that alter or editorialize users’ speech to escape civil liability.”

The statement continues:

“The petition also requests that the FCC clarify when an online platform curates content in ‘good faith,’ and requests transparency requirements on their moderation practices, similar to requirements imposed on broadband service providers under Title I of the Communications Act. President Trump will continue to fight back against unfair, un-American, and politically biased censorship of Americans online.”

Americans are praising the decision as a massive win for free speech in America:

Any time these media discriminate against Conservatives, they should be fined one million dollars for each violation. I was blocked from Facebook twice for three days. The third time, I was banned for thirty days. That is when I sent n email to about a dozen Senators and, I copied it also to Facebook’s Security. They haven’t locked me since but, when I post something the commies on Facebook doesn’t like, I get a virus attack on my computer which causes me to shut down and clean their crap out.

I like the way you think. Fine them. They’re so old and irrelevant, and should have retired a hundred years ago, they won’t know the difference. You know like Joe Biden,

Four more years is what we need. Like him or not he is getting things done. Big business has been getting away with murder. The people of this country are so gullible they don’t realize how bad they are being screwed. Big business is big money taken from small pockets of the consumer. Look at the bottom line. We the the people pay out ridiculous prices for throw away junk made in foreign countries and sold to us at prices way upon immagination. Thanks to Donald Trump we finally have a President that is actually doing something for us the Americans consumer!!

If the punitive options to the FCC don’t include pulling licenses for major violators,
I ‘m not certain that this order will succeed.
