Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein has just responded to the recent requests by Democrats for Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer’s retirement.
According to a new report by Fox News, Feinstein responded to recent RETIREMENT requests regarding Justice Breyer, saying that she doesn’t want Breyer to go. Instead, she thinks it will be a big loss if Breyer leaves.
Dianne Feinstein Responds To Retirement Requests
Liberals are scared to death that Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer may soon die due to old age. As a result, Democrats are pushing for the 82-year-old to resign and let a younger liberal take his place.
But Dianne Feinstein isn’t ready to see Breyer go. Instead, Feinstein says that Breyer’s retirement would be a “great loss.”
Feinstein released a statement, saying:
“My general belief is, if a person is serving with integrity and working hard and producing for whatever the constituency is, that’s what these jobs are all about.”
The news comes as the White House has chosen NOT to take a side in Justice Breyer’s retirement decision. The White House released a recent statement saying as much:
“He believes that’s a decision Justice Breyer will make when he decides it’s time to no longer serve on the Supreme Court,” press secretary Jen Psaki said of Biden’s position.
