Once again, Democrats in power are making it harder to see what’s really going on in America’s elections.
According to a new report released by the SF Gate, the Democrat Governor of Nevada, Steve Sisolak, has just confirmed that he WILL NOT require ballot harvesters to register their names to the government. Ballot harvesters, who are people who collect ballots on other people’s behalf, will not have to have their identities known to the government despite collecting other people’s votes in an election.
No Registry Required
Governor Sisolak rejected the official efforts by his Republican secretary of state to require so-called “ballot harvesters” to register with her office.
The move would have allowed the state to keep track of the people turning in votes on other people’s behalf. Not requiring registration however could potentially allow more abuse in the system because the voters are anonymous to the government.
The Republican Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske said that she wanted more safeguards in place to protect the security of the election from possible bad actors. She proposed and wrote a rough draft of an emergency regulation to require third-party “ballot harvesters” who collect more than 10 ballots to submit paperwork.
