After spending months claiming that mail in fraud was safe, it looks like Chris Wallace is finally starting to change his tune.
According to Mediaite, Democrat Fox News host Chris Wallace stunned fans when he suggested that Donald Trump may have a point when criticizing mail in voting. Wallace agreed that Donald Trump’s claims are not without merit.
Wallace Says Mail In Voting Might Be Dangerous After All
While hosting his Fox News show, Chris Wallace finally admitted that mail in voting could be too overwhelming for the United States Postal Service (USPS). He admits that Trump may be right to be worried.
Wallace told his guest that increased mail in voting could lead to possible fraud:
“Hear me out for a minute. Isn’t it possible that the president really has a point here? As I mentioned earlier, there were 33 million either absentee or mail-in ballots in 2016. If we have double that or triple that, isn’t there a pretty good chance that we will have a mess, at the least. And yes, possibly fraud?”
Wallace’s comments come just weeks after President Trump announced that he would DENY making any new changes to the United States Postal Service before the 2020 presidential election. He believes that the changes could make the voting system very vulnerable to fraud because there won’t be enough time to make the election secure in just 3 months.
