Police officials have just made an arrest after a man reportedly opened fire at Duck Dynasty star Willie Robertson’s home in Louisiana on Sunday. According to a report, nearly 10 bullets were fired at Robertson’s home in what appears to have been an attempt of murder, according to the Daily Mail.
It’s reported that Daniel King Jr, 38, of West Monroe, Louisiana, was the one who was involved in the drive-by shooting, the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office announced on Sunday.
King was quickly arrested in the evening after 8pm on Sunday and was then booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center. Bond was set at a staggering $150,000.
A Miracle No One Got Killed
The craziest part of the story is the fact that Willie Robertson and his kids were all outside just minutes before the shooting occurred. But thankfully they went inside before bullets ripped into their home.
Willlie Robertson quickly spoke out to a local news affiliate after the murder attempt, saying:
“God was watching over us. Like I said, just a few minutes before, we were all outside; kids outside, grand kids outside, right where the bullets came through. God is good and we will keep serving him.”
According to the Daily Mail, in addition to his wife Korie, Robertson has been living with his son John Luke, his wife Mary Kate McEachern and their infant son, as well as Robertson’s daughter Sadie and her husband Christian Huff. Those are the people who were reportedly outside just minutes before the shooting began.
‘We were pretty shook up,’ Robertson told USA Today on Sunday. ‘It looks like they were just spraying bullets across my property.’
‘It was broad daylight,’ he added.
