Once again, lawmakers have been busted using American taxpayer dollars to live in luxury while telling the rest of us we should be social distancing.
According to Not The Bee, 20 lawmakers from 3 states just flew to Maui to party with a bunch of lobbyists at a luxury resort for multiple days while the rest of Americans are forced to social distance. These people apparently think social distancing guidelines don’t apply to them.
Lawmakers Party While Telling Us To Hide
As America locks down due to the surging cases of Coronavirus in America, 20 lawmakers have been busted flying down to a luxury resort in Maui to meet with lobbyists at a comfortable luxury resort for multiple days.
The 20 lawmakers (including from California and Washington) headed to the resort in Maui surrounded by 100 other people including lobbyists and their families to have a swanky, expensive vacation.
And remember, this is happening as 40 California counties moved back into the purple tier due to out of control Coronavirus. The fact that they would do this shows how completely out of touch our government leaders are today. They should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.
These are the same lawmakers telling us to social distance and hide in our homes. Meanwhile, they go out and party in vacation resorts? It’s pure evil what they’re doing.
